Generally, test kits on each campus are checked out on a first-come, first-served basis.
Test availability can be checked in OneSearch. You can find this information by searching the Test Kit Collection in OneSearch, or through University Test Kit Collection guide. Choose the correct campus on the left, then find the test you are looking for in the A-Z list. Click on the link for the test to see the entry in the test kit lending guide for that campus. Click on the first link in that entry, "[Test] Catalog Record" to view the test in OneSearch, which will show live availability for testing materials at different campuses.
If every copy of a test on a particular campus is checked out, you can put your name on a waiting list to be notified when the test is available to borrow again. Sign into your library account and click on the "Local Pickup Request" button in OneSearch.
As of September, 2023, Chicago users can temporarily place pickup requests for tests. After finding the test in OneSearch, sign into your library account and click on the "Local Pickup Request" button. Tests requested through OneSearch must be picked up at the Chicago campus within 7 days of receiving notification that the request is filled and are checked out for the standard loan period of 7 days at a time.
