How do I link Google Scholar to The Chicago School Library?

Please note: If you are not signed into Google, or if you access Google Scholar from another computer, you may need to repeat this process for each new session. If you are signed into a Google account, Google Scholar will remember The Chicago School for you.

Go to Google Scholar at https://scholar.google.com

1. In the the upper left corner of the Google Scholar page, click the Menu bar.
2. Click on Settings.

3. On the Settings page, click on Library Links.

4. Search for TCS
5. Click the checkbox for the "TCS Education System Libraries - ViewIt @ TCSES Libraries" option.
6. Click Save.

Now when you search Google Scholar, you'll see "ViewIt at TCSES Libraries" links next to your search results. Clicking on those links brings you to the full text of that resource through the library's subscriptions.
