Yes, the library has plans to purchase the WAIS-5 when it is published. The tentative release date provided by Pearson is mid-September 2024.
At this time, the library does not have a timeline for when WAIS-5 kits will be available to check out at any campus. The library is planning our staffing accordingly to get the testing materials processed for checkout as soon as possible.
Any assessment courses planning on using the WAIS-5 in the 2024-2025 academic year should follow up with the library as soon as possible. See Faculty Test Kit Information for information on submitting testing needs to the library.
